The Alenda Golf course was designed and built by Roland Favrat with the maximum respect for the original lay of the land and the estate's natural vegetation, avoiding any aggressive movements of earth during the construction process.
The golf course was completed in October 1999. It covers 49 hectares of land, 18 holes, par 72 and 6,257 metres in length, as well as an excellent practice area.
The Alenda Golf School has an excellent practice area with 40 driving range stations and areas where you can practice all levels of short and medium game. It has an audiovisual room equipped with the very latest technology (computer swing analysis), where the theory classes are held.

All our teachers are qualified and endorsed by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation.

Alenda Golf offers a range of courses for individuals and groups, with beginners' and advanced classes to meet our students' requirements.

Alenda Golf is a Par 72 course with very modern facilities and changing rooms that form part of the fantastic new clubhouse that was opened on the 14 April 2007. 

Alenda Golf is situated in the municipality of Monforte del Cid, Alicante in the foothills of the Sierra de las Aguilas mountain range at approximately 250 metres above sea level. It is located on the A31 motorway that starts in Alicante town centre and offers a direct route to Madrid. This puts Alenda Golf in a unique location to play golf and enjoy the fantastic sea and mountain views. At the same time it also offers great connections to the town centres of Alicante & Elche and the local beaches. 
The nearest airport is the new terminal at Alicante, just 15 minutes by car. 

The changing rooms have individual lockers, showers, clean towels and it is scheduled to open dry heat saunas in both the male a female changing rooms by the end of 2011. 

Other facilities include a children’s crèche with summer activities, onsite super market that was opened in January 2008, 2 Padel tennis courts, a gymnasium that was opened at the beginning of 2011 and a new guest parking facility. The gym has very reasonable day ticket rates and discounts on annual memberships are offered to residents. 

Over the years Alenda has also managed to attract a friendly group of members from all over Europe a lot of which has been thanks to the fantastic maintenance and professional golf staff that Alenda have employed.  

The clubhouse also has a fantastic new restaurant that offers a great menu of the day that is very good value. Waiters staff are very friendly and the new Tapas and A la Carte menu is very appetizing with some absolutely mouth-watering dishes. The restaurant area also has a WIFI zone and large flat screen television. 

The bar restaurant is not open for evening meals at this time. It is possible to rent accommodation onsite and the local area offers great places to eat out at night. The nearest restaurants for evening meals can be found in Elche, Monforte del Cid and Orito that are only between 5-10 minutes drive away. 

[Alenda Golf Club House Alicante] It is necessary to hire a vehicle if you plan to rent and stay on site. The downside is there is no onsite bar / pub for evening entertainment however it is possible to contract a very reasonably priced taxi service / driver for larger groups. Enquire about this through your villa renter / owner. 

There is also a bar called "El Palomar" which is next to the service station in the very entrance of the golf course. They too ahve a menu of the day for 8.50 euro and their bar is open until 23.00 hours, however we are told that they stay open for longer if there are enough people consuming.
