We offer financial and non-financial support to Education and Training Centre for Children (ETCC) and the Maafushi School through initiatives like an apprenticeship award, a children's art sale at the hotel, and the Jumeirah Award of Excellence, which recognises outstanding academic achievement.

To protect the natural landscape, we clean the reefs and beaches around the hotel, and have invested in the use of an aerobic sewage plant, which returns no effluent to the ocean. Finally, we've established an environmental committee to continue to find new ways to address the unique environmental and social needs of our precious habitat.
