Legend has it that it was dwarves who carved out an underground tunnel for the Radenci mineral water a long time ago. A medical student heard the burbling of the water, found the spring and discovered its healing properties. The Radenci Health Resort was seeing its first guests as early as 1882. Today, they and everyone else who wants to live a healthy lifestyle continue to enjoy the beneficial effects of the Radenci mineral water on the cardiovascular system. The Radenci Health Resort is a health resort in the truest sense of the phrase – situated among cereal fields and vinyards, the resort enjoys over 250 days of sunshine a year, offering rest and relaxation to seekers of health and well-being.

Family trips and excursions
Radenci health resort in Slovenia is ideal forfamily holidays. Families can take part in organised hikes to the springs of life and along the Mura River. Family boating on the Mura and family cycling trips on the left and right bank of the Mura are also available.

Guests are taking to the Island of Love on a traditional raft, one of the few remaining boat links between the left and right bank of the Mura. For a truly memorable experience, try local culinary delicacies prepared on the spot in front of the visitors.
Boating on the traditional "büjraška šefa"
Another way to discover the Mura is on a traditional boat known as the "büjraška šefa". Afterwards, visitors can set off on the Springs of Life Trail, an 8 km trail that leads to seven separate mineral water springs in the Radenci area.
